I'm running 8.1.2, and lets say you restart your phone (or basically you have not purchased any itunes apps in a while and you are not logged into your itunes account), and you go to install or update an app, it will ask you to enter your password (touchID is not allowed at this point, you must manually enter your password). Immediately after this, the touchID prompt will come up and it will NEVER recognize your finger for three attempts. After this, if you click to install/update the app again, the touch id prompt will come up and it will work. THIS ALWAYS HAPPENS. Its not a problem with my finger. Hopefully this bug is already fixed in the new IOS versions.
