i will often be on a call and need to check something else on the phone. the friction involved in doing this is absurd. first you wake the screen, which shows the call screen. you swipe up, but it bounces back down, and you have to swipe up again to finally have access to your phone.

on top of the phone feeling like its refusing your initial input, it feels even more uncomfortable since your finger is sliding up the display, and the buttons for things like END CALL slide right back down under your finger. luckily its never hung up on me (maybe they're ignoring touch to account for it), but it 'feels' absolutely terrible - like i'm risking hanging up the call in addition to being slowed down.
