Annoying email random thumbnail

Sometimes when I create an email I get an annoying thumbnail of some of the files I attach.

Only some turn into thumbnails; not only the ones that have been opened; and not always the ones that have been opened .

I have already ctrl clicked on the file and said 'view as icon'. Which beautifully makes it an icon. However I am trying to print the email, and I am getting twenty unnecessary pages.

How do I fix?

I think it's thumbnail preview in a document. Am I correct?

Anyone know how to remove a thumbnail preview from a document?
