I've just completely reconditioned a 20" G4 iMac, repasted cpu, cleaned/refurbished the DVD drive, maxed with 2GB memory & new 120GB SSD and installed Sorbet Leopard. This, especially with the SSD and OS has totally transformed this very sought-after 'Sunflower'.
One annoying feature though which I've never experienced before.
On inserting one particular USB thumb drive (but not others) I get the Image Capture app launching with the prompt, No image control device connected, followed by an 'Ultra' spinning loading-bar which quits after approx 10secs. The Image Capture prompt can then be cancelled from the top toolbar (although for some reason the Apple Command/Q is non responsive).
I can see no unusual data on the usb thumb drive to cause this pesky auto-launch of Image Capture. Any ideas on how to permanently disable? Sure, I could delete the app but is that the only way?
