I have no idea why but iMessage, which has been working perfectly until yesterday, has started acting up on me.

When I send iMessages to iMmessage enabled phones they turn up to the recipient as an SMS (or MMS if they contain a picture) but they show up on my message chain in a blue bubble (like an iMesssage).

When I recieve their iMessages they turn up as an SMS to me but appear as a sent iMessage to them.

I currently have iMessage set up to 2 "receive at" addresses, my email and my phone, but for some reason my phone number is greyed out, which I think may be the problem. Not sure if that means it needs somehow to be validated or whatever in order to be 'ungreyed', but any help with this would be gratefully recieved.

I've got an iPhone 4s, bought unlocked direct from Apple and connected to O2 in the UK
