Annoying imessage push to iphone

Hey everyone;

My imessage messages are synced between my iphone and macbook. but when i am messaging someone form my mac at imeesage, some of the replies still gets pushed to my iphone and it vibrates in every single message annoyingly even tho i read it at my mac. How can i stop this? It's really annoying when you are talking with people for a long time.
