I use the genius recommendations link very often from the main page of the iTunes store.

This is my main way of discovering new music.

For the last 2-3 weeks, every time I click the "Genius Recommendations" link of the store I get this:

"We could not complete your request. An unknown error occurred. (5002)".

Everything else seems to work OK in the store. I'm running the most up-to-date version of iTunes and I tried logging in and out to see if that would help.

Is anyone else experiencing this problem?

I thought I would ask here first before contacting iTunes support.

Thanks in advance.

No, it works for me. I'm on 10.5.3

I have now reinstalled iTunes. Didn't work.

Turned genius off and back on (to fully update everything). Didn't work.

Repaired permissions on my Mac. Didn't work.

Contacted iTunes support. They told me that this was a temporary problem that has now been fixed...

I replied that it hasn't been fixed and included a screen shot of the error.

It's really annoying as this is the only way I discover new music!
