Annoying microphone on keyboard iPhone 5

Any way to remove this icon? It's right next to the icon that switches to the numerical setting an I always hit and it makes a noise. Even if its on silent. How do I silence the thing or remove it? So annoying! Thanks

Very convenient while driving. I have a lisp and still don't have an issue with siri dictation.

Same question asked a few days ago. It's a package deal with Siri. The only way to get rid of it is to disable Siri. Apparently the only way to separate them is through a jailbreak and a custom keyboard.
