Hi guys,
im running a macbook pro with snow leopard. never had any problems until the other week when i was greeted by the apple boot screen going very dark grey and a message informing me i needed to restart my system. I did this...LOTS, and the problem still remains, unfortunately i don't have all my music and pics backed up and after running first aid i need to erase the disk and start again.
I therefore dug out my old USB external hard drive and installed Snow leopard onto it fine, with the hope i would see my internal hard drive in the device list and then i could simply copy my files over then boot from CD and install on my internal drive. But it's not appearing in finder
any ideas greatly appreciated, i don't want to lose all my music and files
thanks!
