Annoying slow shutdown!

When will they ever release a patch to correct this "slow shutdown" on Mountain Lion (since Lion, to be true...)?

I miss those Snow Leopard times, when you could get your mac shutdown in less than 2 seconds, even with a hard drive inside of it.

I really thing that they're overseeing this...
