this is a really weird problem

ive got a 2gb usb memory stick... i used my mac for format it with fat.

the usb stick was full... so i removed some data from it, but it doesn't free up the total space i have just removed.

a perfect example... i remove 2 files from it, go to put them back on and it tells me i dont have enough free space.... this is only happening with os x!

annoying! anyone got any ideas about this?

thanks

You have to empty the trash (with the stick attached) to remove the files: when you delete them it only sends them to the trash. This is different to how windows does this.
