I have an annoyance with my iPod touch 4G, that regardless of the volume its set to, it actually plays ALL my application notification sounds (like new messages, the charging sound when you plug it in, etc...) at FULL volume.
In iOS 4, this did not happen. The sound of ALL applications were ruled by that volume control (the one you can set with the physical keys and in Settings). In iOS 5 though, it's gone crazy and doesn't even respect this.
I don't want my iPod to be blaring loud every single time, but nor do I want to disable notifications sounds system-wide.
What gives?
P.S. Running iOS 5.0.1 (jailbroken, but that shouldn't make a difference, I only have a few Cydia apps installed)
