I noticed that in Yosemite (possibly earlier also), pressing ESC will close the current space if the current application does not react to ESC. For me, this is a fairly annoying behaviour - I work a lot with spaces now (sometimes 20 of them), and find that with some apps I keep on accidentially closing the space, then have to recreate it by maximizing the window and put it back into the position I had it in.
Is there any way to disable this shortcut? Since there is already ANOTHER keyboard shortcut for this in the preferences, and it is not set to ESC, I would consider this a bug.
I have a similar issue with Safari in spaces - I can use gestures to zoom into websites (e.g. Google Maps), but as soon as I zoom out, the current space will be closed (instead of the map being zoomed out). Is there any way to disable this?
