Looks like a bad AirPort driver to me (Am i reading this right?). FYI, yes I did download both the pulled AirPort update, and the one that replaced it.

Kernel panics happen. Its only chronic panics (1-2 a day, or several a week) that you should be worried about.

I have to agree though. It does look like a wireless driver issue.

I have been having some issues with the new airport driver too, on a 2.4 penryn system.

It got so bad that it would completely drop my wifi connection in no more than 5 minutes from connection. It acted pretty wacky with the bluetooth on as well, constantly dropping to "Connection speed = 1" and going back up to 54, etc. This on a wrt54GL that has been stellar.

I have since done a restore on the mac, and everything is peachy.

Its the update that they released last week, its on my ignore list now.

Nope. haven't had a single occurrence of kernel panic since I bought the macbook pro.

I wouldn't worry about it too much unless you are getting it often.
At least it's not like the Windows BSOD

Exactly the same issue here

I have exactly the same issue here, at regular intervals. Sometimes only once a week, sometimes several times a day!

I think it is a software/configuration issue, as I had the problem on both a MacBP and a MacB (on which I had restored my system from time machine).
