another 1.1.4 or 2.1 question

Hi, long time i never follow this forum , anyway my 2G iphone still running in 1.0.2
now i want to upgrade,
which one is better for now ?
1.1.4 or 2.1 ?

i like to use my phone to play games and usefull applicattion,
which firmware is more "compatible" for jailbreak's application ?

and overall which firmware is better ?

Get 2.1 it's very stable has the App Store where you can get games (some free some not) and you can Jailbreak it.

I have to say, after running both versions on two seperate phones, 1.1.4 is still much better if you want a smooth UI and fewer crashes and lag. That's been my experience. There's another thread running right now that discusses this. It's titled "2.1 still has problems" or something like that.

A lot of jailbroken apps are still not ported to 2.0 firmware, but the app store has some great apps. i chose to go to 2.1 because it has good app store apps along with a lot of (but not all) jail broken apps.
