MicroCenter sends me big bundles of an ad in the mail every few months. In the latest one, they pitch that a "Free XP downgrade" is included with their Vista-preloaded computers. L-O-effin-L.
My mom's computer has Vista, and it really could be worse. I still remember wanting to throw a computer with Windows Me loaded on it. But it does feel bloated and unorganized. There are bars and buttons everywhere on every window, and I can get how she is thoroughly confused with Internet Explorer. It's like playing Where's Waldo? to find the address bar.
I'm going to hold this against her next time I suggest a new computer. It'll be probably 4 years from now, but she's gonna learn how to use a Mac and like it!
