Another Case thread

Here we go another case thread you guys are properly sick of these I know but could do with the help.

Got myself a iPhone 13 pro max, this is my first iPhone I’ve ever had I’ve always had Samsung not series. I’ve been using otter box defenders on all phones through the years, so naturally I had one on order before I picked the phone up. Well all I can say it the silicone cover does not fit at all is stretched and I believe it will put a negative effect on it’s impact capabilities so it’s been returned. So I got a symmetry. Placed the phone in it and the raised bumpers around the sides don’t even cover the aluminium sides and can be seen still!. So I’ve ditched otterbox now because 2 out of 2 cases don’t fit. Little bit of background I NEED impact protection! My job is a engineer Crawling around tight spaces so so my phone does and will get dropped and be on floors etc. but I also want MagSafe as I have a MagSafe wireless docking station on order.

Can anyone help me out I need maximum drop protection. As much protection on my phone as possible, nice and big bumpers around the camera module and the screen too stop these from touching surfaces etc. and too be MagSafe as well.

You must have purchased a fake defender case as the Defender Pro I have fits perfect.

I’ve been using the defender pro XT on my iPhone 13 pro. I love it. Still thin, but gives the protection of the defender. As stated, I would be worried that you picked up a fake otterbox with those issues. I have a symmetry as well for lighter days and have never had that issue. If you did order from otterbox or know you have an official case, their warranty is amazing. Just pay shipping.

Problem with the Rokform is you have too take the case off the phone remove the magnet in the middle too be able too use MagSafe wireless charging. I bought both my ottterbox’s off there own website I never buy 3rd party so I know they where legit. Just strange as I’ve always had a beautiful experience with otterbox. I’ve read a few people having the same problems maybe there quality has gone downhill. The defender xt the back of the camera lens is flush with the case so it won’t provide me with the protection I need.

Well this video is for the 12 and some of these cases survived a 50 feet drop. You can use it as a guide.

Otterbox Defender made of silicone?
Have you takled to Otterbox about the cases that don't fit.
I know their cases aren't perfect, but never heard of the fit being as bad as you say.
What's the deal there?

I had the same one. Went with it for a week and threw it away. For me, it seems very uncomfortable. It does not sit well in the hand and constantly wants to slip out.
