Earlier today, I downloaded the full installer file for Catalina from the App Store, as I wanted to ask the folks here a question (I remembered the "incident" from last time, but forget to gather the details). My first question is will that version of OS 10.15 include the "fixes" contained in the Supplemental Update that came out the other day?
In any event, I did a clean installation of OS 10.15 onto an external partition on a Samsung SSD. Went well, as expected. After getting the dialogue:
I chose "From a Mac, etc.", selected the internal (boot) SSD on my Mac Mini with Mojave V10.14.6, and after asking for a password, away it went. Towards the end, this cascade of screens popped up:
I have never seen that before (except with my prior test/installation). The 5 "developers" are:
Volitans Software
Legacy Developer Roxio
Oskar Groth
Legacy Developer Jmicron
Paragon Software GmbH
The only one I recognize is Roxio, as I still have an older version of Toast. In any event, I just clicked "OK" for all of them.
What I'd like to know is:
1) What does that dialogue mean?
2) Any issues with it?
I am not having issues with Catalina, as it works fine with the applications I have tested. BTW, I am posting this within my "Catalina" environment.
Any comments, suggestions, information, etc. would be appreciated.
