Hi all. I just picked up the iPhone 13 Pro Max on Friday and couldn’t be happier, having come from a Samsung Galaxy Note 10+. During my two years with the Note, I picked up two USB-C to USB-C fast chargers from Samsung, a 25 watt and a 45 watt.

They both seem to be working on my new iPhone but they don’t appear to be charging very quickly AT ALL. Does anyone know how many watts they’re actually putting out when charging my iPhone using the USB-C to Lightning cable? Can I potentially damage the phone by using the Samsung fast chargers?

Thanks.

I also come from a Samsung S21 Ultra and have both chargers 25w and 45w from Samsung and theoretically the 45w one should fast charge the iphone. The 20w charger from Apple support PDO 5v 3A=15w or 9v 2.25A = 20w
Samsung support PDO 5v 3A=15w 9v 3A=27w 15v 3A=45w and 20v 3A=45w.
It could use the 27w protocol and pull the 20w it needs for fast charging. Not 100% sure.
