Sorry I have to ask this question. But which one would be better to charge my IPhone 13 Pro,the older style 5 watt cube or the 20 watt cube or use the Belkin Boost Up wireless stand,I want to get the best life out of the battery, but I hear so many different things that it would be nice to get some confirmed answer, and what about the Optimized Battery charging settings on or off

Thank You All For The Info

I always fast charge, either apple 20W adapter or belkin MagSafe 3-1 15W charger.

Sold my 12 pro max this year with 99% battery health, always charge my phone to 100% in the morning, never leave it on the charger for more than 30 minutes once it’s full.

Sold my XS max which I had for 2 year, that had 95% battery health, also used a apple fast charger for that.

The lithium ion batteries in satellites (which can never be replaced) are charged to a voltage that will give them the longest lifespan- typically 40,000 load cycles. That peak voltage is 3.92V per cell which is an equivalent max charge on an iPhone of about 75%

If you're charging overnight or otherwise don't care about how long it takes, slower charging will always be better. Less heat, less stress on the battery.

I trade mine in every year so I use magsafe, which is not that efficient. I would recommend using the older 5W charger if you keep your phone longer and don't mind the wait. Fast chargers are for people who needs power fast and don't care if it slightly kills the battery. Some people don't charge until the last minute and than need it charged up asap.

I did everything you're not supposed to do with my XS - left it on a wireless Qi charger to 100% overnight every night, ran the battery down to well below 20% (often into single digits) almost every day, the phone spent a lot of time in my car and outdoors in 100F+ degree heat, and I sometimes topped off the battery during the day, either by lightning cable or wireless charge. After 3 years it had 79% battery health and if I hadn't upgraded to the 13 Pro, I would've had the battery replaced. I thought 3 years out of a battery under those harsh conditions was fine.

I'm not going to worry about it with my 13 Pro - it goes on a MagSafe charger on my nightstand and is charged to 100% every night, and I have a Belkin 30W charger in my car for travel. I'll try to be more conscious about not running it down below 20% (should be a lot easier with the better battery life on the 13 Pro!), but not going to sweat it if it happens once in a while. No way around exposing the phone to the summer heat - it's just what happens when you live in the desert. If it goes bad within 2 years I'll get the free replacement under AppleCare+, if I keep it longer than that and it dies, I'll pay for the battery replacement.
