Another Cydia Thread...

SO I installed Cydia just like other people I assume. I restarted my ipod, now its stuck with that "singleuser boot" error. Im on vacation and i need to know how to remove cydia without having to restore. I dont know the IP of the ipod to SSH into it, so I have no idea what to do.

Tell me someone has an answer...

i jailbroke and tried to update the packages in cydia, and now it's at the logo boot screen. . .just sits there and gets hot. . .

I didnt even jailbreak. Ive been on 1.1.3 for months now and I wanted to try Cydia, and now this happens.

Sure it would facilitate things to have the IP. However, your iPT is NOT 'bricked' it can be recovered.

It is impossible to 'Brick' (render entirely useless) an iPod Touch. If you encounter seemingly unrecoverable difficulties, simply restore.
