Looks like a widget app to me. *shrug*

It wouldn't surprise me if we end up seeing widgets (maybe even lock screen widgets/info?) as a surprise feature in OS 4.0. These rejections would then make a lot more sense.

Aren't there already hints that there is some widget-like functionality in the app switcher?
