Could this be symptomatic of the 8600M GT failing. If so this will be my second gpu failure on my Santa Rosa MBP. The current symptoms are somewhat different than with my previous failure.
On my first logic board I had the sleep/wake issues/black screen/ and horizontal section of black
This time around I am getting red intermittent noise for about 10 seconds or so and randomly. Happened twice yesterday and once today, while encoding a video.
