I made an error (my fault) on my iPhone X pre-order. I called the (800) myapple number, however they weren't able to assist due to the order being "Ready to Ship". Understandable.

The Apple representative suggested I go to the Apple Store.

I went to the store on 11/03 mid afternoon. There were "velvet rope" lines to get in the store. The "headset guy" asked me about my issue, and directed me to jump the queue to another line in the store. I had to wait about ten minutes in the "second line" as the Inside Apple Guy patiently assisted other people. Every so often he'd have to run to the back. That's what he did. He ran. He didn't walk.

The Apple rep was kind, gracious and helpful. I walked away with my issue solved.

I know many people have written about unpleasant Store experiences. I was both satisfied and impressed.
