Hi guys,

I know this has been done to death but I just wanted to check something. I am absolutely fine with my Macbook (retina Pro 15" 15GB discrete graphics) running hot when playing games, and it does. The area above the function keys especially. However today I was playing Dayz in Bootcamp and even the keys started getting hot, to the point where it was uncomfortable to play, and I noticed the big white power brick was almost too hot to touch.

Is that normal? Should I be concerned and/or getting Apple to take a look?

This can happen, it is not unusual. If it becomes too hot it will shut itself off (if people remember this it should stop all of these threads). There is no risk while running it like this. If you want it to run cooler make sure you have good airflow by the hinge of the rMBP.
