I'll start off by saying, I'm not a huge user of this forum. But I do check the headlines daily and keep up with Apple news. Owner of a 3GS.

My source of this claim is myself. And all of you iPhone iOS 4 users can see it also.

iPhone os 3 auto corrected "att" to "AT&T" Now is does not. It simply recognizes it at a completly misspelled word. When you type "verizon", it doesn't auto correct it to Verizon, but it shows it misspelled; and the suggestion is "Verizon"

I am using IOS4 and I think recently, since I installed it, it ha corrected me.

Don't know about that. On my Iphone4 it corrected att to AT&T and it left verizon alone.

I just tried this and noticed that if your in an app (notes) and if you type att with a lower case a, then it will change it to AT&T, but if you type Att with a capital A, then it will leave it as a mistake.

Wouldn't that be more of an indication that they don't care about Verizon.

And more importantly, why did I take the time to reply to this thread?
