Hi

I have a question regarding the email on iphone:

Every time i send an email from my iPhone using my email address, not gmail, yahoo,.. which is like abc@def.com, the recipient will see

From: abc@def.com
Sent by blabla@gmail.com

Any way to hide my personnal gmail address ?

Cheers

I've tried to figure out how to suppress the gmail information too, but not successfully. I gave up.

Go to your Gmail account, on the web, not the phone, and change your outgoing mail prefs.

Can you be more specific, i can't find anything on the setting
1. Use your computer to log in to your Gmail account on the internet.
2. Click on Settings.
3. Click on Accounts.
4. Select option to 'reply from the same address the message was sent to'.

Hope this helps and achieves the result that you are looking for. :)

Unfortunately this does not solve my issue as the recipient still see the "sent by" when i sent from iphone

No worries !

I hope someone can help me as it's extremely annoying, i need to send email to clients but can't send since my personal address will be shown..
help !

Why would you want to spoof your e-mail address, which by the way can be a violation of an ISP's terms of service?

Are you planning to spam people from your iPhone? Not very effective for doing it one at a time, you know.

have you tried going to mail preferences (iPhone) and under the default account for sending messages just change it to your Gmail account?

:D

Hope this solve your problem

irrelevant. I'm just running a small business and need to send email from my business account, not from gmail.
