My situation is this: The movies in question are .movs from my iPhone.
No downloads, 3rd party conversions or different formats. They played one day, and didn't the next.
"An invalid public movie atom was found in the movie."

Yes, sure they play in VLC, but that's a band-aid, not a cure.
(that, and one or two are rotated 90)

I've searched a lot of forums; many of the posts are a few years old, and the only solutions I've seen are to use another player.

Has this been resolved?

iMac G5 10.5.8, QT 7.7
I have Tiger on a partition. The movies play just fine there.
