Rumor is that the 12" PB will be removed from the product lineup at the next update. The introduction of G4 iBook reduced the demand for 12" PB, thus PB lineup will be 15" and 17" only after the next product update.
not all the surprising... casing is about all that's fundamentally different between the two...
