I just got a new macbook, not pro or air, just a normal macbook and i want to be able to hook it up to my tv, my tv has an s-video and then the rca cable spot and then component spot. i bought the mini-dvi to video adapter (http://www.macmall.com/macmall/shop...-Mini+DVI+to+Video+Adapter-Cables&dpno=285975 ) and i have rca cables. and i thought that if i just plug the rca cable into the adapter into the tv and then go to the right input it would work. well it doesn't. what else do i have to do to make it work? do i need an s-video cable as well?
thank you
