Hello,

my MacBook Pro (2009 Unibody 17ich) has fallen victim to the infamous pink/green artifacts. Indentical to these:

Some facts:

- video on external displays is fine, only shows up on the MBP's LCD
- about 6 months ago, the first GPU (9600M GT) started showing it, and now the 9400: so I was fine with the 9400 for a while!
- probably happened because of overheating (didn't properly go to sleep when being put in bag)

Most importantly:

- the artifacts entirely vanish when applying mild pressure here:

It feels like an easy fix is within reach. Could be wrong.
Doesn't seem to be the GPUs, nor the screen, nor the cable to the screen (fiddled with that - no effect).

Any ideas?
