I'd been on the fence since the new phones came out. I loved my X, but it was out of storage. I'd foolishly gone with the 64 gig (only used 30 at the time) and have been out of space for a few months.
I had a really hard time justifying the price difference for a 256 gig 11 Pro and wanted flexibility when the new phones came out next year. I could upgrade to a 128 gig 11 through Apple for $349 with the trade.
I'd worried about the change in specs, namely OLED screen would feel like a downgrade. But I figured worst case, I could trade it in a year.
After a week, I have zero regrets. Yes, the screen doesn't look quite as sharp on a few apps. But it was nowhere close to the dealbreaker I thought it would be. I was also worried about the size after reading comments of it feel 'thick' or like a brick. Or bezels burning eyes. The size is perfect. I'm wiping my X to mail in and it actually feels a bit too small.
Lesson learned is that all Apple devices are really good and you have to fit what works for you. The 11 Pro and Max are fantastic phones as well. But for me and my needs, this absolutely hit the spot.
