MP 1,1-5,1 another newbie needing guidance for Mac Pro 1,1

OK here we go
I just salvaged this beast from getting scrapped 20 bucks on marketplace
its a A1186*2113
Mac Pro 2 dual xeon 2.66 dual cores
32 gb 667 ddr2 ram
Nvidia 7300gt 256 vid card
Mac osx lion 10.7.5 11G63
1,1 boot rom MP11.005C0B08
its so old it will not connect to apple
barely attaches to google
I RUN OPEN CORE ON MY 2007 IMAC 27
SO I KINDA GET MAC OS
still learning
I see in all posts that there was a netkas patcher to get me to 2,1 and a hope to upgrade past lion
is there anyplace that really has it ?
will anyone share it ?
this has been a frustrating 2 weeks for Christmas Break that has no positive outlook

please help if you can
I would hate for this gem to have to get recycled

I believe the only tangible difference between the 1,1 and the 2,1 is the processors (the 2,1 had dual quad core processors). Otherwise they're both limited to OS X 10.7.5.

I would recommend that you check out the Early Intel Macs forum on this site. The participants have lot of experience keeping these old systems useable.

aside legacy computing with old OS (10.7 or El Capitan (with patches)), using Linux or Windows, or as a heater - you can barely do something with a 1,1 today.
