The iMac G4 is so beautiful with the skinny flatscreen you can bend in every which way. I have a 768 MB ram one and I loves it to death. I'm only gonna upgrade when I absolutely cannot continue in the technological world with it. He's like a brother.

So does anyone else like the iMac G4?:D

The iMac G4 in my opinion is the best looking iMac.
I'll agree with that. We've got 2 in the family now. They are both 17" 1GHz Superdrive models. The first was purchased new in January 2003 and it blew me away in speed. The 2nd I got earlier this year for $125 on Craigslist. Perfect shape and I upgraded it to 2Gb of RAM and OS 10.5 for my mom to use. Its a shame they never got over 1.25GHz.

i have the opportunity to get a 700 mhz one for very cheap on CL to play around with..Im half tempted but when it comes down to it, what can it be used for??

Why give up on it? Why "upgrade"? It is truly an interesting looking computer. What about using screen recycler with it?

I have a 15" iMac G4 in my kitchen. I use it with my Slingboxes to watch TV in the kitchen and surf the net. It looks great and still works well.

Got rid of the Air, waiting on the Alu iMac to come in...
I'm giving the old G4 some love too!

I personally like my rev.B G5. The G4 is interesting though, needs the larger screen to look normal imho though.
