I don't know about anyone else but all these iPhone rumors and speculation is driving me insane. Everyone is saying (or thinking...) a different thing right now. So I thought I'd throw my crazy idea in.
9to5 reported yesterday about the N90A showing up in the inventory system, most likely 8GB models. And they had that label leak for the iPhone 4S, which at first was thought to be fake but now they believe it may be the N94 model. A few months back 9to5 reported that the N94 in the SDK supported a 5MP camera. Yes, Apple could have changed the coding since then, but let's say that N94 does have a 5MP camera and an A5 chip. Let's also say they introduce that in 16GB as that is what the label leaked as. So why not the iPhone 5 (which I'm sure Apple would have wanted to keep quiet) as a 32/64 model.
This was Apple could attack the low cost market, the iPhone 4 could be free or $49 on contract. Then the 4S which would be a small upgrade from the iPhone 4 could be a remarkable price of $99 on contract and the iPhone 5 would retain it's usual $199/$299 contract price. This may be debunked, and people may not think Apple would do this, but Apple has done a lot this year that I never would have guessed. I think this scenario is entirely possible.
