I assume the point here is that iOS makes a special keyboard with more buttons when in landscape on a large phone, whereas Android just makes all the same keys bigger? (This part would be the same whether composing a text or email.) I am actually a bit concerned about that just because you'll have to adjust your muscle memory when changing orientations and that might be confusing. Plus, Apple is still keeping the stupid Shift key highlighting confusion that iOS7 introduced. That really needs to be fixed.

There are a multitude of keyboards that are available in the play store if you don't like the stock keyboard (beauty of android). Apple fans will finally experience what those who use android have for years when they are ALLOWED to use swiftkey/swipe.
