I have a 256 Xs. Still owe 1034.97$ on it with AT&T Next. Is it worth paying off and getting an 11 Pro 256? Is it worth the hype? I've got the upgrade bug fairly bad.

I bought my iPhone X in April and I will not be upgrading. You will regret it in 11 months if you do. I would bet money on it. Don’t pay attention to the hype. All 2019 iPhones will be obsolete when the 2020 iPhons come out. Sit back and enjoy the crying when people who bought this year realize that they got duped. Save your $$$.
I knew in May I would get this feeling around this time of year but I got a XS anyways. Maybe a Note 10 or something will make me feel better for awhile.
Why do you need anything else though? There’s no additional utility considering what you have.
The fleeting thrill of having a new gadget/device to play with. I’m not overly impressed with my Xs camera either.
Save your money. If you are itching to spend money, give a donation to children with cancer.

Why do you feel people “got duped”?
I had the X for almost 2 years. Bought an XS and had that for a couple weeks then bought the Pro Max. The Pro Max is by far the best of the 3 and its not even close. The battery alone puts it into another class.
Next year when the 12,or whatever they call it, comes out I’ll probably get that if it lives up to the hype.
I was asking “bluefintuna”. He says people got duped this year and Im curious why he thinks so.
I have the XS and am tempted by the iPhone Pro 11 because of the extra battery life and the fact that the screen brightness has been increased. Also it looks sweet with the triple cameras and the matte black color.
Not upgrading at this time though since my XS is still running strong and I've got some other expenses right now.

Because of the rumored redesign and 5g. Apparently the 11s will become paperweights then.
just like the 2020 iPhones will be osbsolete within a few weeks/months come September 2020...
You should really wait for the 2021/2022 iPhones

what is 2020 really going to bring to make any iPhone obsolete? It’s gonna bring 5G? Me and the average user cannot even use 5G...It is gonna bring a 15-20% faster processor that I won’t even feel because my current phone is already crazy blazing fast? if Next gen iPhones make the iPhone 11 obsolete, then your X is definitely way past obsolete, because it can’t even take photos in the dark, or make a full day on battery “it’s obsolete So go throw it away”.. But your X isn’t obsolete and that would be dumb to say it is, and even dumber to throw it away.. And next year won’t make them obsolete either. It’ll just be another iPhone with minor adjustments that make them slowly better and faster.
people were trading in Standard iPhone 7’s for $275 through some carriers. These phones are from 2016 they’re not even obsolete yet.
Nothing is going to render them obsolete either but a lot of time, not even a redesign next year with 5G.. Because in 12 months when the new one come out it is pretty easy to get back about 70% of what you paid for yours when it was first released the year before.
if You want the latest and greatest it cost money to do so, and we all live in the “NOW” not in next year land.
Hey guys I’m going to live for 5 years with a slow ragged phone day to day without upgrading hoping that something marvelous comes out every year? I have a older phone but You own a iPhone a Pro and next year it’ll be obsolete! Lol
5G is not doing jack for me or anyone else too. The nearest city with 5G is an hour away from me. So what in the hell is next year really going to offer that other phone manufacturers haven’t already released??
I own a iPhone Pro Max and I’ll certainly be in the pre-order regardless if my ProMaxGreen becomes obsolete.
and who got duped?? It has the best camera around? Longest battery life of anything on the market! We bought it knowing what it offered. It has a A13 which is just a beast. We know what we signed up for, and we know what we can sell our phones for to get the next one next year too!

Phones don’t become obsolete unless they can no longer receive major OS updates
I went from the Xs to the 11 Pro, couldn’t be happier, the battery on the Xs wouldn’t even get me through a day, so I upgraded because of that, the cameras, screen, better reception are all bonuses.
