Got an '07 iMac, and just reinstalled Win7 on it, while playing around with the partition sizes. Before, everything worked fine. Now, I have no sound (though, if I strain my imagination, I think I can hear something). According to Windows, everything's working fine; says the driver is functioning just as it should. I've reset the computer, no dice. I've checked things in OS X, and its just fine.

Any thoughts?

Also, the sound buttons on the keyboard don't do anything at all when in Win7. The volume slider doesn't move, nothing.

Looks like I am in the same boat, using a late 2009 iMac (i5 4850) I have no sound. When testing in Windows it thinks it has sound.

Anyone know what chipset his iMac uses?

edit: I have sound through Parallels 6.0 though, odd. Though in Parallels I have no network :p
