hello,

I'm a new mac user. I have checked the forums for an answer to my question but came up blank. I have 7.1 surround sound speakers. I wanted to hook them up to my macbook. I was wondering if Decoder DDTS-100 by creative would be able to connect to the speakers i have. The speakers I have do not have optical in Am i better off just getting a griffin firewave.

Any input on dilemma would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Get the firewave. The creative shizzle would work, but it would be fiddly. The firewave is your best option. :)
