Another Tuesday approchs

This Tuesday is just as good of a chance as any!
Keep your fingers crossed, but don't get too worked up about it. Even if something is released, chances are pretty high that it won't have all the specs everyone seems to be hoping for.
Finally got our tax refund, so I'm hoping for this Tuesday. I also look forward to them now as well. Hopefully the new laptops will available locally when they are announced, and I won't need to wait any longer to order online or wait for them to show up in stores.
I was in the sherman oaks apple store on saturday and there were only 13" MBs and MBPs on display. Not sure how long its been that way.
Maybe not everyone, but it could have the specs I'm hoping for:
17" (current res of 1920 x 1200 is ok with me)
Core i7-620M
4GB RAM
500GB hard drive
Superdrive
ATI 5830 (or maybe if Santa Claus really does exists and Clarence puts a good word in for me with his boss a 5850 but that is a long long long long shot)

Except I want 8GB RAM and a 1 TB HD Do they even make that for a Notebook?

The i7 620m costs roughly $150 less than the current T9900 3.06ghz available in the 17" and 15" high end. 2x4gb ram costs around $500, on average (last time I checked, which was a while ago) 2x2 costs around $200? I think... Point is, I think that 8GB standard is a possibility.
A 1TB SSD came out before the first 1TB harddrive (2.5" of course), and the asus lamborghini vx5 supposedly has it.
I'd also like to see an upgrade in the 15" resolution, maybe to 1080p =D
I'd really like to see the SuperDrive detached... Like with a USB, so they can fit more battery power or another harddrive in. Like honestly, I barely use my DVD drive.
On the release date - march 2, at the earliest. Read the "I'm waiting for arrandale" thread, and you'll see many reasons listed. For one, Chinese New Year and valentines day. You don't realise how serious Chinese new year is in china.
