Another unknown iPhone Status Icon

Can anybody help me to determine the purpose of the icon with the red x that has recently appeared in the Status Bar on my iPhone 4 with IOS 5.1?

is your phone jailbroken? Its indicating that vibrate is turned off

It is but Vibrate is definitely NOT turned off. When I check settings-Sounds-Vibrate. It is set to ON.

its supposedly part of some HTC theme

The only Theme I've set up in Winterboard is Tap2Unlock. It shouldn't affect vibrate.

I resprung the phone and the icon has gone away. Thanks so much for your help.
