Where bunnies are welcome.
Every time I want to upload a photo, I have to click the paper click icon three times. Why is that? In other words, I click the paper clip, click browse, then upload. Then I click the paper clip and the link to the pic is not there yet. So, I close it, and then when I click the paper clip for the third time, the link is there. Is this just how it works? I've noticed this for awhile, but figured I'd ask a stupid question anyway, since I've yet to see a solution.

This has been an issue for a long time.

What I usually do for inline images is upload the image and when the window changes to show the attachment like this:

Attach2.jpg

I click on the filename and a new tab opens with a url similar to this

http://att.macrumors.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=187223&d=1249744097

I then type where I want the image to appear.

I find the paperclip to be too temperamental.

Thanks, I just wanted to make sure I wasn't being stupid and there was something I had been doing wrong.

I click Manage Attachments, Choose File, Upload, Close this window, Preview Post, paperclip once.

Since I have an administrator account, my experience with forum features can obviously differ, but I've run into the same paperclip problems that others have described, so there's a chance that what works for me will work for others.
