another werid problem with iPhoto

I think its because i'am a heavy user of iPhoto but a werid problem has cropped up.

When looking through the libary i found hunderds of multiples of the same set of pictures, all entitled New Pictures follwed by a number, i have never entitle any photo New Picture.

The pictures all seem to be rotated wrongly and i have no recollection from where they came from.

The orginal pictures are all renamed diffrenlty and are fine, and deleting the werid ones seem to not cause any problems.touch wood.

What do you think the problem could be?

I had this occur when I exported to an iBook (using it as my backup for storage). When I then moved to the iBook's iPhoto - there were 3 copies of each pic, and each a different size
any of this sound familiar to what you did?

it sounds similar, i had three of the same size but rotated diffrently, so one would be normally, then the other upside down, etc. Very werid.
