I've read over the existing "which printer to buy" threads and haven't found postings that are quite in line with what I'm needing.

I'm looking for a color laser, PostScript printer. I need something that can print hundreds of pages at a time with a monthly output requirement in the 5000+ pages range. I'm not trying to pinch pennies here. This printer needs to serve me well for years without down time or expensive preventive maintenance.

Duplexing would be nice, but it's not an absolute requirement.

Page size up to 11x17 would be nice, but it's not an absolute requirement.

I have an HP 5500N laserjet printer at work that seems to fall right in line with the speed, reliability, and quality expectations that I have. (It doesn't duplex, but there's one in that same HP line that does.) With years' positive experience with this HP printer, I'm tempted to start my search with the HP color laserjet line.

The only problem I have is that my office is 100% PC  and I have no experience using the HP 5500N laserjet (or its family members) with a Mac. This printer would be used 95% of the time with a Mac and the rest with Win XP on a home business network.

Any feedback on the HP laserjet line with a Mac network? Recommendations for printers in this price, quality, reliability, performance range?
