I had a large Commute 2.0 bag from Timbuk2 that I had to send back in because the handle started to fall off (yeah, that sucked). Timbuk2 has given me $140 to get another bag, and now I'm rethinking the whole Commute 2.0 bag and starting from scratch.

My thought is to get a regular messenger bag and a laptop case to give me a bit more flexibility (and to be able to use the bag to the fullest for those times I don't need my MBP), but I don't want one that's so big that the MBP will slide around in it even in a case.

I think I'm down to the Classic Messenger (maybe customizing it) or one of the d-lux bags. I think I'm going to need the large, though, if I opt for going w/o the built-in compartment. I think the medium, though, might fit the 15" fine.

So, any thoughts from fellow 15" MBP owners and the Timbuk2 line of bags?
