Hello. Trying to find out if it’s possible to answer the watch and have the sound from the phone.

Scenario. I use hearing aids that work great with the iphone, but suck with the watch. Regular bt only and nothing but snao, crackle and drop. No volume either.

Until I am due for new aids (va) it would be nice to be able to answer my watch and the sound come to my aids from the phone. Had hoped I could leave my phone, but would work for now.

I am not sure if it’s possible, however once you are in the call, if you touch the icon with the 3 dots it shows you the devices you can play the sound trough.

Have you paired your hearing aid (guess it has bluetooth) with Apple watch?

have you tried this: Switch a call from your Apple Watch to your iPhone: While talking on your Apple Watch, unlock your iPhone, then tap the green button or bar at the top of the screen.

from: https://support.apple.com/guide/wat...all from your, watch display for three seconds.

Yes. As stated in first post they crackle and drop the calls. Not useable that way. They are just regular bt, not “hearing aid compatable with watch”. Ble.

I still need to pull out my phone for that, looking for a way to automatically hit answer on phone while sound comes from phone. Maybe not possible. Thanks.

With my ReSound hearing aids, I’m able to press the button on either earpiece and answer the call with the hearing aids themselves connected to the phone.

… but I’m guessing you have something else, since I can’t actually pair mine directly to the watch. I can control them with a watch app — but only if the phone itself is in range, so the watch app works like a remote control to the phone.

Really would be nice if I could connect them directly to the watch so I could leave the phone behind and still take phone calls over the hearing aids. Maybe someday …

Some aids use ble bluetooth and are recognized as hearing aids. Phonak is not.

I can answer mine that way but have a problem doing so. Big fingers with numb tips. I cut off the call half the time.
