Answer calls on BT and/or W1-powered headset?

Hi everyone :)

I have a little question for Apple Watch users with a BT headset. I know that with AirPods, a new button appears when someone is calling, that lets us answer directly with AirPods from Watch.

Does the functionality is reserved to AirPods, or every W1-powered device is capable of that?

I need to ask that question because I naively thought that would work with any BT device, but when my Watch is paired to my Beats Solo 2 Wireless, calls are answered on the Watch's speaker.

I just ordered a pair of Beats X and I would like to know in advance if that will work as hoped.
