I work from home and currently have a land line funded by my work. Is there an application that would allow me to forward all my land line calls to my mac? Maybe something that has caller ID and call filtering?

Thanks!

There used to be software for this, but I don't know for sure if there still is.

The first requirement for answering landline calls would be a dial-up modem to connect the phone line to your Mac. Does your Mac have a modem, or do you have an external one?

If not, I don't see how it would be possible without using a voice over IP service like Skype.

Thanks for the reply. I've never used Skype before but can I forward my calls from my land line to Skype and manage the calls from there?
