Does the EyeTV need a good antena to pick up analogue signals, or digital signals at all? Does anyone have a good (cheap) recommendation?

From what I understand, it needs an antenna. But as to which brand/model, I don't know. I'm interesting myself since I get my Hybrid next week.

Which EyeTV? Only two products support digital television at all. Both require antennas.

Depending on where you live, a decent set of rabbit ears may be all that you need. Like HDMI cables, "HDTV" antennas are mostly a scam. If you have signal problems with a basic antenna, you might then consider something more substantial.

Oops. I mean the EyeTV Hybrid.

OK. Sounds good. I guess I'll see how my current antenna works, and if it doesn't start thinking about something else. My current antenna is one of those very embarrassing things that's almost in bits and pieces. But if I don't have to buy anything, I don't want to.
