Hi!

Anyone bought and received these band aids for iPhone 4? Thinking about buying a pack just for fun, but want to see some not computer generated pictures first.

So please post a pic or two if you have it on.

Thanks :)

Funny stuff... my wife and I got a kick out of these.

Do they actually help improve the reception issues?

Hmmm, I don't know. I haven't really put it to the test yet. But we live in a pretty good area for signal so the reception issue is spotty for us anyway. We're going on a family road trip for the week starting this morning so I'm sure there will be black zones of coverage for me to do some unscientific testing. I'm guessing they have to make at least a little difference, right?

Looks like there's essentially no difference with the "aid" on or off. Obviously it was meant as just a joke product, but for those interested in real world results I got anywhere from a 14dB drop to 22dB drop with or without the "antenn-aid" applied.

As a sidenote, the adhesive residue on the back of the strip stays on the antenna once you remove it. A little bit of friction got it all off, but I won't be applying another aid again, I think.
